We're at war, people scurry
Dodging bullets, children
Sent away to the country,
Away from the deadly experience.
Strong armies in battle, whilst
Innocent people hide in the
Muddy trenches all dirty and
Scared of defeat.
It was very stressful, the
Shooting seemed to be
Everlasting, we knew it would
Be unforgetable
The poisonous sting of the bullet
Seemed to be a challange.
Finally the skies cleared,
Poppies growing in the fields,
Birds begin to sing their songs,
People loiter around
Grieving for thier loved ones.
No more killing for miles
Around, no more blinding
From the bombs, the air
